At Auto Performance AU, we want you to shop with confidence. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, our Refund & Return Policy outlines your options.


1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Items must be returned within 7 days of delivery.
  • Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.
  • Clearance, custom, or special-order items are non-refundable unless faulty.

2. Change of Mind

  • We accept returns for change of mind within 7 days
  • A restocking fee of 10–20% may apply.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

  • If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
  • We will arrange a replacement, exchange, or full refund at no extra cost.
  • Photos of the issue may be required to speed up the process.

4. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

5. Return Process

  • Contact us at support@autoperformance.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
  • We will provide you with a return authorisation and shipping instructions.
  • Send the product back securely packaged.
  • Once received and inspected, we’ll confirm your refund, exchange, or store credit.

6. Warranty

  • Most products come with a 12-month manufacturer warranty against defects.
  • Warranty does not cover improper installation, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

7. Exceptions

  • Electrical parts, lighting, or items that require wiring cannot be returned once installed.
  • Custom or special orders are final sale.
